
Today's race in London got many by surprise. Kipchoge has won championship titles since 2013 and those are about seven wins in a row without skipping. In the Ineos challenge he completed the in 1h 59m 40sec. He had over forty pace setters drawn from across the world to assist him realise his dream of running under two hours. He was not competing with anyone but competing against time. He entered the Guinness book of records last year during the Ineos 159 challenge.

Eliud Kipchoge still remain a world record breaker in the marathon race and still remain in the Guinness book of records to become the first human being in history to run a 42 kilometre marathon race under two hours.
