As a result of his demonic heritage he possesses numerous superhuman abilities which he uses in combination with a variety of weapons to accomplish his goals. A famous mercenary, demon hunter and private investigator, he is the son of the legendary demon knight Sparda and his human wife Eva, the younger twin brother of Vergil and the uncle of Nero.ĭante is dedicated to exterminating demons, a mission he follows in pursuit of those that killed Eva and corrupted Vergil. Dante ( ダンテ ?) is the primary protagonist of the Devil May Cry series of 3D action games, being the main playable character for the majority of the games.
